Scammers use the internet and often create false posts in the name of reputable businesses/person with a goal to defraud. As a prudent practice & to avoid falling victim to a scammer, always independently verify the authenticity of the person or business with whom you are dealing and personally speak with the person BEFORE sending money or moving forward. Don’t let a scammer fool you.

In real estate, you can verify the ownership of a property by doing a search of the property address in the local county appraisers website.

Also, be careful with names that are similar or the same name. For example, the name Bob Buchholz with TheBuchholzRental.com is NOT affiliated with me in any way.
